DELIFINGER CD ARTWORK FEATURED IN EXHIBITION

This is the artwork in question....the cover of the 'girl who cried wolf' EP, released in 1984. Delifinger did the main image and Boonbeans added his trademark 'white glow' and 'green swirls'

The exhibition space was on Colwyn Bay pier, a fantastic example of victorian seaside architecture in its own right.

Only Women and pets were aloud in to see the work, due to fears that testosterone levels could put the ancient structure in jeapardy.

Boonbeans entered a piece as well, but after being rejected from the main show,it was put outside to scare away small children and crows. The piece entitled 'hungry dwarf' is made from 14840 smarties held together with maple syrup and moth sweat.

TOP TRUMPS

Someone with way too much time on their hands made Fence Records top trump cards. below are a few of them. OLO WILD CARD!!

DREAM (Of The Royals)

FIELD DAY

Boonbeans, Lionheart & friends took the big bus down to Victoria Park, London for the Field Day Festival. We enjoyed the toilet queue, the beer queue, the burger queue, and the queue to punch the soundman. We caught Caribou, Battles, Justice, Fridge, Gruff Rhys, Adem, The Aliens, The Earlies, Fanfarlo, & our good friends..The Fence Collective. Bit annoyed we missed Bat For Lashes, Archie Bronson Outfit, and Liars. We ended up going to some club for a Fence DANCE-OFF! Lionheart threw a big strop on the walk home cos he was missing 'proper food' and his bed. ha! Here's some pics..

Caribou..

Yorkston, Pictish, Creosote..

Robin Allender..

Spazzy Bystander..

Lone Pigeon's doodle..

Justice / Jesus Christ..

King Creosote..

Thanks to Jimtendo and Corker for the photos.

POST-INTERVIEW-HOT-AIR-DART-PIE FUN!

After the interview we went to the Balloon Fiesta. Free pies!! The night ended on a sour note as Seaweed & Boonbeans were tricked into playing a fixed game of darts..

VENUE INTERVIEW

NO TIME TO CHAT..WILL TELL WHEN BACK FROM LONDON TOWN..MUST RUN..CATCH BUS!!
BYEEE.

* We're back from little ol' London now, in fact we got back on Sunday but.."these things take tiiiiime!" as Morrissey once sang. Yes so we were interviewed by Bristol's Venue Magazine last week (photos below). Delifinger was on a pony trek so was forced to miss the chat so we took one of his many stand-in heads along. It was quite a good laugh actually. Lovely man, lovely man, lovely man. He only asked 2 questions but we managed to fill both sides of his cassette tape. He wrote quotes in his little book when one of us said something pretentious. The OLO feature will be out Weds 22nd August.
