As mentioned last week, we recorded 2 xmas songs for 'Shepherd's Deelite' a compilation cd full original xmas songs by loads of Bristol bands/singers compiled by You & The Atom Bomb. the cd went on sale (and apparently sold out!) at tuesday's xmas gig (which i'll post all about later). we also made 30 cds with these tracks on which we gave away in xmas stockings on the night. there will be no more cds, but you can now download the songs for free. here you go..click arrow to play or right click to download.

Here are some pics from saturday's You & The Atom Bomb's christmas karaoke party. the fancy dress theme was saucy santa, i ignored this and dressed as a..erm?..don't actually know what i was. Delifinger slabbed on some make-up, and Lionheart had his christmas sherry cheeks.

XMAS DING DONG!

Come on down! You And The Atom Bomb, Safetyword & Olo Worms (making their 1st ever live performance!) play at Mr Wolf's (Bristol) on Tues 12th Dec. the Olo Radio team will be djing too. all 3 bands will be performing original xmas songs written especially for the night. there will be cd's of xmas songs recorded by a number of Bristol artists (including us) on sale, and we'll be giving out xmas stockings filled with tat. there is also talk of fancy dress. below are the posters i made originally intended to make up a flat cube net. happy easter! turkey's lay choc eggs.

SAFETYWORD'S debut album 'Man's Name Is Legion' is out now!! and its unbelievable! it's everything i expected and more. go visit the link above and buy it!

to celebrate the launch of the album they performed the whole thing live at the Cube Cinema at the weekend. the night couldn't have gone any better, Safetyword were on top form and seemed well chuffed with it all. Mike Seed and Freeze Puppy were great too. the OLO Radio team pitched in with some fizzy pop records inbetween acts. one of my favourite nights of the year i think. how can Safetyword top it?

SAFETYWORD ALBUM LAUNCH

To celebrate the completion of their debut album 'Man's Name Is Legion' Safetyword have hired out The Cube Cinema (Bristol) to play the album live. there's great support from Mike Seed (who did a OLO podcast the other day) & Freeze Puppy. to top the bill off..and over the edge..OLO Radio DJs shall be present pressing the GO & EJECT buttons. the album will be on sale on the night..i can't wait to hear it! a masterpeice i'm sure. poster made by Norbo.

DAS VIDEOTECH

During the late nineties, just before the dawn of the new millenium, an Austrian short film director called Petra Hoffman made a series of cutting edge video journals. Through a contact working on a car bootsale stall that sold starwars figures (in their boxes) Petra approached James Nation and me with a view to give us starring roles in the pieces. After seeing the scripts James and I decided that we would appear in the shorts for 400dm each which we would have donated to the 'just two more scoops' charity in vienna. Sadly the masterpieces never made it to air after a lack of equity membership on our part forced Petra to re shoot using 2 unknown girls from the former yugoslavia. The replacement films are still shown to this day on stl1 and stl2 in countries all across europe. Here are some of the original series.......for more visit the delifinger blog
