Our manager Chuck Head on stage in Cardiff..
So tomorrow we set off on a 88 hour drive to Scotland for the Fence Homegame Festival. Exciting! This is the last date of our first tour, the 'OLO Exotic' tour as we are calling it. After this weekend we will have played 4 gigs in 3 different countries! The crowds in Brazil were wild! We'll post up all the photos along with a tour video (groan) and some words when we get back from Scotland next week. Byebyee!

WICKER MEN
A 'fan' threw us into her log fire and sent us the photo. Kind. I guess this is what we'll look like tonight in Cardiff..i don't mean we'll be hot/on fire! i mean we'll be burned to death by the locals after our stand-up show bombs at the comedy club.

VENN FESTIVAL
We are very excited to say we have now been confirmed to play at this year's VENN FESTIVAL! It's gonna be amazing! Here's the poster..
Here's the press release (highlighted people we are fans of)..
VENN 08
5-8th June 2008, Bristol, England
First acts to confirm...
Matmos, Why?, Rachel Unthank & The Winterset, Moritz von Oswald, OLO Worms, Sunburned Hand Of The Man, Murcof, Errorsmith, Fuck Buttons, Infinite Livez vs Stade, Skeletons and The Kings of All Cities, The Blessing, Snorkel, Afrikan Boy, Chik Budo, The Fungus Moth, John Wall, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Le Volume Courbe, Peverelist, Munch Munch, MoHa, Hauschka, One More Grain, Tractor, October + Phil Minton's 'Century FC'...much much much more to be announced soon.
Bristol's festival of musical overlap returns for a fifth year of celebratory stylistic mix 'n' match. Following last year's triumphant edition featuring key sets from Faust, A Hawk & A Hacksaw, Luke Vibert and ZunZunEgui among others, Venn 08 retains much the same format, but expands to incorporate a joyful safari through a host of unlikely new venues and contexts. Events will unfold in planetariums, ice rinks (MY IDEA!!), skate parks and other mischievously appropriated spots around the city, as Venn maintains its resolve to find fun new ways to flip the urban festival format.
Highlights among the opening raft of line-up confirmations include the masters of colourful conceptual electronics and Bjork collaborators Matmos, psychedelic rock/poetical hip hop mongrels Why?, minimalist club-dub maestro Moritz Von Oswald (Basic Channel), the old-meets-new English folk wonderment of Rachel Unthank & The Winterset and 'Century FC': an ambitious, specially commissioned one-off project involving maverick vocal improviser Phil Minton and a 100-strong civilian choir. Plus plenty more knowns and unknowns to enjoy, and many, many yet to be announced.
